Ladue Middle 6th Graders Have a Ram-Bunctious Assembly

School receives model fitness banners, and a Play 60 Kinect game system too.

Monday was a very special day for the sixth graders at Ladue Middle School. They spent the last hour being entertained by the St. Louis Rams. Tackle Rodger Saffold hosted a Play 60 Vanna White themed game show.

School students, faculty and administrators were given two banners. One was a Character Fitness Model School banner. The other was A Character + American Heart Association banner.

As a Rams spokesperson said, “Ladue Middle won this competition by a whole lot.”  Over the course of the year, students and teachers were involved in:

  • Girls on the Run
  • Zero Tolerance Physical Fitness
  • Brain Break
  • The President’s Fitness Challenge
  • The Forest Park 5K run in March
  • The 3 mile Turkey Trot over Thanksgiving

And the topper, the sixth grade was surprised with their very own Play 60 Kinect game system.

The Ram mascot Rampage assisted while Saffold, the former tackle from Indiana University led selected students through their paces.

Take a look at the video and the photos of how the sixth grade ended their day Monday at Ladue Middle School.
