Ladue Fifth Grader Wins Junior Idol Contest
Ande Siegel takes home a $1,000 cash prize from the Lake of the Ozarks contest.
Ten year old, Ande Siegel, fifth grader at Reed School, took home the grand prize of $1,000 vacation money from Franky and Louie's at Lake of the Ozarks this summer in their Junior Idol Contest.
Ande performed Adele's Rolling in the Deep to a crowd of Labor Day weekend guests to win the finals in the 7-10 age group. Several of Ande's Reed School friends and family joined her for the final competition.
Last spring, Ande and her friend, Menea won Mizzou's music composition competition, when her music teacher entered a song for which she co-wrote the lyrics and music.
Ande is undecided on where she'll spend her vacation money winnings from the Junior Idol show, but she is excitedly reviewing many possibilities.
