Ladue Field Hockey Shuts Out Brentwood 4-0. Numerous Photos on Ladue-Frontenac Facebook Page

Barb Dwyer's Rams having an outstanding season. Ready for the playoffs.

The Ladue Rams field hockey team posted a 4-0 shutout of Brentwood yesterday. They are having a fine season and ready for the Midwest playoffs coming soon. They will brace for competition from all the area private schools.

Elise Pellett, Courtney Emert, Maria Vetter and Hillary Bloch scored against Brentwood for the Rams.

Coach Barb Dwyer said against Brentwood they were able to do a lot of substituting.

“We worked on our passing,” she said. “The team also just works on focusing and staying into the game, and I thought they did a good job.”

She said they’re coming back from injuries, and it’s finally starting to click with the team. They play St. Joe on Friday.

“It will be a really tough game, and we tried to use this to practice passes and putting it in the circle.”
