I could tell from the start of the season that this year was going to be a strong one. We have a wide range of talent and everyone seems to contribute.

Patch: What is the favorite thing you like about being on your team?

KM: My favorite thing about my team is watching us come together with a common goal. This is largely due to what we have learned from Coach Black and his staff.

Patch: Comment on any special accomplishments this season so far.

KM: We have gotten off to a great start. We have faced some tough opponents and have prevailed. Our goalie is doing an outstanding job and has given us many shutouts. This gives our offense the confidence we need to be aggressive.

Patch: Which athlete do you admire the most, and why?

KM: I admire Mia Hamm a lot. I was recently blessed with the chance to meet her and it was so incredible. She was so sweet and humble. I hope I am like her one day.

Patch: What is your favorite tune in your I-Pod these days?

KM: I have a wide variety of music from rap, country, pop and alternative. I would have to say my favorite song right now is "I love it" by Icona Pop. It’s a catchy song and I listen to it before every game...it’s a great pump up song for me.
