5 p.m. Deadline Today to File for 'Take Back Ladue Committee'

Committee first organized in February. Deadline to report all donor information is due today.

The election committee, “Take Back Ladue Schools,” the group opposing Prop 1 in Ladue on the ballot April 3 has until 5 p.m. (March 26), to file all of its donor information, Ladue-Frontenac Patch has learned.

Rita Day, former Missouri State Senator and official with the St. Louis County Board of Election Commissioners reports on this status. "They first filed their committee Feb. 7 and everything was finalized Feb. 27. Therefore, they were not subject to January or February filing dates."

Patch was referred to the election board by Betsy Byers, attorney for the Missouri Ethics Commission. The ethics commission has the power to levy fines for late reporting, but the election board does not.
