Father of Eighth Grader at Villa Duchesne Going to Iraq
Students collected items to make up care package for reservist deployed to Iraq.
The eighth grade class at Villa Duchesne collected items in September for a military care package. The care package will be sent to the father of a Villa Duchesne eighth grader deployed to Iraq on September 11, 2011, the tenth anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attacks.
The U.S. Army Reservist visited Villa Duchesne and Oak Hill School last week to personally thank students for their support.
