Extra Bus Involved In Minor Accident

First Student Bus Collides With Automobile On Ladue Road Cutoff.

A First Student bus, serving the Ladue School District collided with a late model Ford automobile at 8:24 a.m. today. The accident occurred at the joining point of the Ladue Road cutoff and Ladue Road immediately east of Rhodes Park.

According to Ladue School District spokesperson Susan Dielmann this was an extra bus put into the district because of recent weather conditions. The bus driver was not injured and no students were on the bus. The bus neither dropped off, or picked up any students today in the district.

The driver of the late model Ford Fusion,  a female was slightly injured in the collision and declined transportation to the hospital.  Ladue's Police Chief Rich Wooten said that traffic into Clayton was pretty much tied up because of the accident, but fortunately, no students were involved and there were no serious injuries.
