A Conversation with Jack Danforth Senator. Episcopal priest, ambassador, author, philanthropist

Few individuals view the world with the perspective that comes from having served more than 40 years in as many roles as Senator Jack Danforth. All are invited to hear from the former senator at 7:30 pm, Thursday, December 1, in Haertter Hall on the Burroughs campus, 755 South Price Road in Ladue.

After brief opening remarks about civil discourse in politics, religion and beyond, Senator Danforth will entertain questions from the audience. No question will be off point: Everything from “What is the appropriate relationship between religion and politics?” to “Is stalemate the new normal in Washington, D.C.?”

Senator Danforth began his political career in 1968, when he was elected attorney general of Missouri, a position he held for two terms
