Our pitchers, Clayton Buddemeyer and Steve Frank did a great job on the mound working quickly and effectively.

Our hitters, Adam Putnam, Trey Baur, Jack Rouse and Will Southworth all had multi RBI games. If we get this production we should have a real good year."

MICDS was 2-1 in Florida played pretty well and got in lots of work while enjoying the great weather. "We saw a lot of kids in our games and that gives us a chance to continue to evaluate kids doing multiple things."

The Rams next play rival Ladue Thursday in a MICDS/Clayton tournament game and next week they face Lutheran South, Parkway Central, Priory and Burroughs.

"We will know where we stand in a hurry. If our pitching keeps us close we have the ability to make things happen and we are looking forward to the challenge."
