Bombers Likely Headed Back to Playoffs

In a day when nothing could go wrong, Burroughs Demolishes Confluence Prep, 73-0.

Confluence Prep was no match for the Burroughs Bombers by the time they got off the bus.

Early in the game, first-year coach Gus Frerotte cleared his bench as not to ring up 100 or more points against the out-matched opponents.

Burroughs is 7-1, with its only loss to rival MICDS, 45-20. The rest of the games have been well in control. The Bombers scored 45 first quarter points, then put up seven in the second quarter, seven in the third quarter and 14 in the final stanza.
