Alli Magaletta of St. Joe and Charlotte Martin of Burroughs Co-Share MVP Honors

Voting was so close, a tie was declared in week No. 7

A most unusual thing happened with this week's MVP voting. Of the 759 ballots cast, Charlotte Martin, lacrosse attacker at John Burroughs got 340 votes (44 percent of the total) while sophomore soccer midfielder Alli Magletta of St. Joseph's Academy got 327 votes (43 percent). In anybody's book, that is a statistical dead heat so Patch declares the two young ladies co-MVPs of the week. Congratulations to both.

The rest of the votes went to Haley Pryor (53 votes), pole vaulter from MICDS and Amos Bartelsmeyer, (39 votes) middle distance runner from MICDS.

Martin, who is going to attend Northwestern led the 17-0 Bombers to the Missouri Lacrosse title. She scored 66 goals, 22 assists for 88 points including four goals in the title win over MICDS.
