2 Ladue School Members are Sworn into Office

Newcomer Dan Regelean and incumbent Jeff Kopolow. Kopolow elected president of the board.

If time consumed has anything to do with it, expect new Ladue School Board President Jeff Kopolow to run fast, snappy meetings. In defense of past presidents, Monday night's agenda had only one discussionable item, setting the salaries for district administrators. Kopolow's first meeting as board president lasted just 16 minutes.

The board certitifed the April 2 election results and seated the top to vote recipients, Kopolow and Dan Regelean.

Monday's meeting was the last for School Board President, Jayne Langsam who retired after serving the district as a volunteer for many years.

"I felt it was both an obligation and an honor to serve, and I feel like I met my obligations," said Langsam.

Judy Sclair, the district's acting superintendent thanked Langsam, saying this is the hardest, non-paying job in the district. She suggested board members wear a sign board printed front and back "complaint department."
