Burroughs didn't fear the threat of rain or Villa Duchesne on the Saints' lacrosse turf Wednesday afternoon.

Burroughs came out firing and defeated Villa, 16-3. Burroughs is 3-0  while Villa fell to 2-7. The Bombers had a comfortable 10-2 first-half lead.

Leeanne Hurster and Barrett Carlson led the Bombers scoring with 5 goals apiece. Stephanie Kelly added 4 more. Abby Frerotte was the winning goal tender.
