Diane Denny of Prudential Select Properties Featured on St. Louis Presents

Diane Denny, the top real estate agent for 27 years in Prudential Select Properties, was recently featured on St. Louis Presents.

While present on the show, Denny graciously gave commentary and advice on the real estate market, tips on selling and buying a home, and the outlook on current national interest rates.

In regards to the housing market in St. Louis, Denny concludes that it is improving. “We’re getting multiple contracts right now. Activity is way up,” said Denny. “It looks like now is a good time to put your house on the market.”

The housing market isn’t the only thing that’s going up either. “Right now, interest rates are so low that it’s crazy,” said Denny. “I heard that they might start to creep up again, so now is a great time to buy.”

Denny also gave plenty of key, relevant tips to those looking to sell their homes in search of their dream homes.

“A good kitchen and bathroom are definitely hot points for a buyer,” said Denny. “Nice colors are really popular; decorating is really important. It’s all about staging as the Internet is so popular. People are picking the houses they want to see off the Internet pictures, and so we’re really keen on getting great photos and helping people stage their homes to maximize the number of showings that they get.”
