Gone Fishin': Dennis Bible Retires from Ladue after 41 Years on the Job

Bible served the last 23 years as Public Works Director. City honors this public servant with a retirement reception in the Council Chambers.

Hundreds of people crowded the council chambers at Ladue City Hall to wish Dennis Bible fond adieu and best of luck. Bible retired Friday as Public Works Director after 23 years at the controls. He took the opportunity to thank all of those who were important in his life, mainly his wife of 45 years, Jennifer.

He recognized the people he worked closely with including officials from government agencies and his entire crew from the Public Works Department.
