Frontenac Fire Fighters Raise Money for Susan G. Komen Foundation

Crew raised $1,800 by selling pink t-shirts to the public.

If you saw Frontenac Fire Fighters out and about last fall, particularly in October, dressed in hot pink t-shirts, your eyes don't need an examination. You were not drinking.

The fire fighters were authorized to wear the shirts on duty. They were raising money for the Susan G. Komen for the Cure Foundation. Alltogether, they sold some 200 shirts and presented a  check to the foundation for $1,800.

Many of the buyers were nurses at nearby Missouri Baptist Medical Center and Mercy Hospital.
