2nd Annual Road Classic in Frontenac This Saturday

Bicycle and other activities planned for everyone in the community.

Competitive and casual cyclists all over the St. Louis area are making plans now to ride in the 2nd Annual Clayton Road Classic on Saturday, September 22, hosted by the Town & Country-Frontenac Chamber of Commerce. With three routes to choose from including a kid's course, the CRC offers the community the chance to enjoy the start of the season, get some great exercise and meet local business owners.

During the ride, everyone is invited to attend the Classic Community Festival located at Plaza Frontenac behind Fleming's Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar. The festival will include music, food, shopping and a self contained course for kids.

There will be three routes this year to accommodate many fitness levels.

There will be a self-contained course on the grounds of Plaza Frontenac for kids, a 6-mile route for the intermediate rider and a 15-mile route for the more advanced cyclist. You must be 16 years of age or older to participate in the ride and helmets are required. The 6-mile route will have a police escorted "rolling enclosure" ride.

$30 – Event Day Registration (must be at least 16 years of age)
$5 – For any child 15 years of age or younger for the Kid's Course only (at Plaza Frontenac).
