SUV Flips Upside Down On Westbound I-64/40

Driver of single car crash reported to not be seriously injured.

A black SUV overturned on westbound I-64/40 at Lindbergh Boulevard at approximately 9:45 a.m. today. The driver of the SUV said he was making a cell phone call, according to a Ladue police officer, and he hit the median, traveled over three lanes and came to a crash up side down.

The vehicle was heavily damaged in the accident.

The driver, a male was reported not to be seriously injured and was being treated by Ladue paramedics in the ambulance on the scene.

No other vehicles were involved in the crash. Westbound traffic was being diverted to the two inside lanes of westbound I-64/40. Meanwhile, numerous cars were exiting the highway at Clayton Road and Lindbergh Boulevard.

Fire and police from Ladue and Frontenac were on the scene, handling this accident.
