Northbound Lindbergh Re-Opened After Truck Fire in Frontenac

Emergency workers reported the fire shut down the road near Deacon.

A trash hauling truck caught fire on northbound Lindbergh Boulevard in Frontenac this morning, shutting down the road to traffic while firefighters combated the blaze and workers cleared the road.

The road reopened at about 9:45 a.m., according to law enforcement reports.

The initial report of the road closing came at about 8:20 a.m.

Mark Guttmann of the Frontenac police told Patch there were no injuries in the incident. The Frontenac Fire Department responded to the fire.
