Housekeeper Accused of Stealing Jewelry From Ladue Home

Missing jewelry included a charm bracelet and a monkey-shaped pendant valued at $3,000.

A housekeeper is accused of stealing jewelry from a Ladue woman.

Erica Crenshaw, 42, of the 8400 block of Buckthorn Drive in Berkeley, was charged Jan. 24 with felony theft.

Ladue Police said the homeowner noticed numerous pieces of jewelry missing last fall from her home on Maryview Lane. Two days after the woman asked Crenshaw if she knew anything about the missing jewelry, a charm bracelet that had been reported stolen was anonymously returned to the residence. Four charms still were missing from the bracelet.
