Home on Waverton Drive Condemned for Hazardous Living Conditions

The place was knee deep in stench and other trash and had to be condemned.

9:07 p.m. A delayed police report of a home burglary was made on Eversdale Court. The burglar pried open a rear patio door and stole jewelry from the bedroom.

Wednesday, October 3, 2012

3:37 a.m. A car crashed into the median on westbound I-64 at McKnight. The driver was injured and transported to Mercy Hospital. Oil and debris blocked two lanes until it could be cleaned up.

Thursday, October 4, 2012.

6:35 p.m. Three cars were involved in a collision on eastbound I-64 at Clayton Road. No injuries were reported.

Emergency personnel, responding to a medical alarm on Waverton Drive found no one at home. The investigation turned into a hazardous living conditions case. Debris was strewn about the home and living conditions were termed “ugly.”

A Ladue building inspector condemned the property until the place is cleaned up and disinfected. An elderly woman lives at this residence and will have to find other living arrangements until the property can be restored.
