Motorist Smacks Into Highway Median, Then Drives Wrecked Vehicle to Service Station

9:40 a.m. A purse, snatched sometime overnight from an unlocked automobile on Winwood Drive was reported stolen. The contents of the purse are unknown.

12:18 p.m. A larceny occurred on Glen Cairn Drive. Two large leaf blowers were stolen from the property.

4:32 p.m. A shop lifting was reported at the Old Navy Store at 800 Ladue Rd in the Ladue Crossing Center. A male was arrested but there are no other details at this time.

9:08 a.m. Power tools were stolen from a construction site on Glen Eagles Drive. The larceny took place sometime overnight.

1:32 p.m. A male, age 21 was arrested in the 1600 block of Log Cabin Drive. The subject was booked on driving with a suspended license, and was a fugitive from the City of St. Louis.

4:22 p.m. A driver hit a pole in the parking lot of the Schnuck’s Store at 10,275 Clayton Rd.

6:52 p.m. Two males, ages unknown broke into a Cadillac Escalade and made off with unspecified items. The two suspects were driving a Dodge Charger and got away.

12:03 p.m. Ladue police carried out a prisoner pickup from a location in St. Louis County. The male, age 30- was wanted for passing a bad check in the City of Ladue.

Saturday, August 18, 2012

10:44 a.m. A car slammed into the center median retaining wall on westbound I-64/40 at Clayton Road. The driver was injured and transported to an area hospital.

10:13 a.m. Another driver struck the center median of I-64/40, this time at Lindbergh Boulevard. No injuries were reported and he drove his automobile to McNamara’s station at Lindbergh and Conway.
