Emergency Crews Called to Saint Peter's Church in Ladue--Top Story of the Week

No flames or smoke ever happened at the church on Warson at Ladue Road.

Lucky for all, fire fighters and police called to Saint Peter's Church in Ladue Wednesday morning turned out to be mostly a false alarm. Still, this was the big story of the week in Ladue.

Fire-fighters from the Cities of Ladue and Brentwood tended immediately to a call by the staff at Saint Peter's Episcopal Church, 110 North Warson Rd. in Ladue. The church is located on the northeast corner of Ladue and Warson roads.

Firemen quickly investigated an odd smell from a mechanical unit in the building. A staff of four employees was not evacuated from the building at the time. Assistant Fire Chief Jeff Johnson of Ladue directed the scene.
