A wine reception proceeded a brief Shabbat service, followed by a lively talk by TI Rabbi Emeritus Mark Shook. Then it was on to a can’t-resist-any-of-this-dessert buffet as readers lined-up for a signed copy of The Ezra Scroll.
Shook’s story of the discovery of an ancient Hebrew scroll in U. S. occupied Iraq spans 2,500 years to the present with the raw textures, colors and sounds of a forgotten time.
