Olivette's Abe Ehrlich Passes Away At Age 88

Former Chairman Pro-Tem, he worked often on projects for the city.

 

Abraham Ehrlich, a long-time resident of Olivette passed away at age 88 on February 2, 2012.

Ehrlich is survived by his wife Marian, daughter Barbara Hanish and son Joel Ehrlich, brother of Robert Ehrlich and grandfather to several.

Ehrilich served Olivette with distinction as a former council member from 1984-86 and member of several boards and commisions. He was a trustee of Bonhomme Woods subdivision and served as City Clerk for more than seven years.

In June, 2011, he was issued a proclamation by the City of Olivette for his many years of volunteer service.

The Ehrlich's, married 50 years relocated to Indianapolis before his passing.

Graveside services were conducted at Love Bros. Cemetary, Cincinnati, OH. Memorial contributions are suggested to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society or charity of one's choice.
