Among the loved ones she leaves behind are her children and grandchildren.
"Dorothy will be remembered for her great love and appreciation for her family and friends. She loved people and was very grateful for many things in her life," the obituary states.

Her memorial service was held Tuesday at Ladue Chapel.
According to the Post-Dispatch, memorial contributions are asked to be made to the American Heart Association, St. Louis Children's Hospital, or the charity of one's choice.
