This Week's Social Event Picks: Bravo St. Louis with Andy Cohen, Old Bags, and Be the Difference Benefit
In Chesterfield, Frontenac and all around the city are fun events that raise awareness and help to support important causes in our communities.

The Charity Event: Bravo St. Louis – featuring NYC’s Andy Cohen, a native St. Louisan
Save the date: Saturday, April 28, 2012, Exclusive VIP Party at FK Photo Studio (across from NEO) from 6:00-7:30 p.m., Party at Neo on Locust from 7:00-11:00 p.m.

The Beneficiary: Proceeds will fund the National Council of Jewish Women’s mission of improving the quality of life for women, children and families.
Get the Scoop: Bravo’s Andy Cohen, St. Louis native, will host a live auction at this first-time event with a nightclub feel and urban flair. Choose from a select group of fabulous items and experiences. Come enjoy dancing, catering, cocktails, a raffle and lots of surprises. A VIP party meet and greet with Andy Cohen will be held prior to the main event.

The Charity Event: Old Bags 2012
Save the date: Tuesday, April 24, 2012 from 6:00-10:00 p.m.
The Beneficiary: Foster and Adoptive Care Coalition
Get the Scoop: Girls night! At the door you and all of your best girlfriends will be greeted with an Old Bags signature cocktail before you go to a ballroom full of gorgeous handbags up for auction. You will indulge in delicious hors devours, decadent handmade chocolates by Lake Forest Confections and special surprises. Brands you will find include Kate Spade, Juicy Couture, Tony Burch, Coach and many more. Check the website for photos. VIP guests will enjoy early check-in, entry and express pay for a sneak peek and champagne served in the special VIP seating area. The Charity Event: Be the Difference Benefit, a benefit for Voices for Children
Save the date: Thursday, April 12, 2012, cocktails and hors d’oeuvres at 6:00 p.m., dinner and keynote speaker, Judge Glenda Hatchett at 7:15 p.m.
The Beneficiary: Voices for Children
Get the Scoop: Help abused and neglected children in foster have a voice. You will enjoy hors d’oeuvres, cocktails, dinner, raffles and fund-a-need auction. Hear National CASA spokesperson, star of syndicated courtroom TV show Judge Hatchett and former presiding judge of one of the largest juvenile court systems in the country, Judge Glenda Hatchett, special guest and keynote speaker for this event. Also, celebrate with Donald M. Suggs, Publisher and Executive Editor of The St. Louis American as he receives the 2012 Community Superhero Award.
Attire: Cocktail attire.
