St. Louis County Library is hosting a contest for kids and teens ages 7-18 with a talent for creative writing! The contest is part of Art @ Your Library, a year-long series of programs and events focusing on a different creative topic every other month. The Write Stuff contest is open to kids between the ages of 7-18. Entries must be received before April 1. There will be prizes for the winners.

Now, for the fun part, the stories submitted must start with the following sentence: “I could not believe what came out from under my bed that morning...”
