Ladue Grad Not On Final MLB All-Star List of Heroes

Despite a long list of accomplishments, Ladue graduate and veteran Vadi Dodge didn't receive enough votes to be recognized during the MLB All-Star Game.

Although Ladue High School graduate and veteran Vadi Dodge isn't on the final list of thirty people recognized during the MLB All Star Game Tuesday night, many would likely still argue he is very much a local hero.

As previously reported by Patch, the MLB and People Magazine invited people to join in and salute U.S. Military heros in an online contest. Readers could simply vote for their local hero and Dodge was on the list of finalists.

However, according to the MLB's list of winners, Dodge did not make the final list. The 30 who were selected were honored Tuesday night during the MLB All-Star game.
