24th annual car show to benefit Shriners Hospital for Children

The 24th Annual European Auto Show to benefit Shriners Hospital for Children will be held again this year at Plaza Frontenac on Saturday June 5, 2011 from 11am to 3pm.

Since its inception, the European Auto Show has drawn auto enthusiast from all over the country to a premier event held each June in the heart of St. Louis county. The 2011 show will represent over 30 marques, from all over the European continent, totaling more... than 200 unique and rare vehicles from the turn of the century to the latest in high performance and luxury.

The show will also include exotic motorcycles and one-of-a-kind automobiles including a very rare appearance of the highly modified Jaguar XKR from the hit 2002 James Bond movie “Die Another Day”. The XJR features all of the goodies you’d expect from a Bond flick including machine guns, rocket launchers, and a host of other electronic wizardry Bond and his arch nemesis have come to rely on to carry out their missions.

The European Auto Show benefits the Shriners Hospital for Children - St. Louis. The St. Louis hospital was recently co-listed with St. Louis Children's Hospital in the Top 10 Pediatric Orthopedic Hospitals in America for its outstanding and innovative work with children’s specialized orthopaedic needs. The European Auto Show and its presenters are honored to be part of the compassionate care the Shriners are providing for children with orthpoaedic needs.
