As the Cardinals get ready to host the Brewers for Game 3 of the National League Championship Series, it's been darn near impossible to predict this team's next steps. But look at the "Happy Plane" theory:
-Final day of regular season they fly out of Houston winning the Wild Card over the Braves on the season's final day.
-After Game 2 they board a flight to St. Louis off coming back from a 4-0 deficit against Cliff Lee to win the game 5-4 and even the NLDS at 1-1.
-Facing elimination down 2 games to 1, down to Philly they win Game 4 at Busch 5-3 and even the series at 2-2 fly back to Philly for an deciding Game 5.

-They stun the Phllies in Game 5, 1-0, as Chris Carpenter outduels Roy Halladay and the Cardinals win the series 3-2, and get to the airport to catch a plane to Milwaukee to play the NLCS!
-After losing Game 1, they hammer Brewers starter Shawn Marcum and put a "12 spot" on Milwaukee winning Game 2, 12-3. Those Cards knew a plane was waiting for them at the airport to take them back for tonight's Game 3!
With Games 3,4,5 at Busch, Cardinals fans hope the "Happy Plane" theory, gets shattered tonight, as there were other games where the airport wasn't calling, and they weren't winning. Either way they really seem to like to "hit and run (or fly)" off the field.
