·         Laughter: The simple act of laughing can relieve stress. Watching funny movies, visiting with humorous friends, or reading funny stories, according to research from the Mayo Clinic, can reduce blood pressure and relieve muscle tension.

·         Yoga: Reduces stress levels and is a great way to promote fitness if performed on a consistent basis.

·         Identify the source: Seniors experiencing stress can often attain relief by identifying the source of their stress. For instance, if financial problems are a causing stress, seniors can identify solutions and reduce their stress level.
