Mount Pleasant Estates is more than Just a Winery

Mount Pleasant Estates Events

There is nothing more relaxing than sitting outside, listening to music, and sipping award-winning wine. Mount Pleasant Estates, located in the rolling hills of the Augusta Appellation, offers panoramic views of the Missouri River Valley. The winery is a perfect oasis to soak up an afternoon and let go of any stress you may have. There’s always something going on at Mount Pleasant, too.

On Saturday, May 5th the Soulard Blues Band will play on the outdoor terrace and bicycle racers from all over Missouri will compete in the annual Vino Fondo. The Vino Fondo is a great spectator event. Hundreds of bike racers will pass through Mount Pleasant; so, bring your cheering section and enjoy the show!

On Sunday, relax and recover from the race at the winery while donating to a good cause. Mount Pleasant will partner with Ronald McDonald House and 20% of all sales will benefit the three RMH locations in St. Louis.

On Sunday, May 20th, STL Winegirl Angela Ortmann will stop by the winery to lead Missouri Wine 101. She’ll teach guests the art of the swirl, sniff, and sip so tasting rooms will no longer be intimidating. Angela always makes her presentations fun, light-hearted and interactive. For only $15 you can become a Missouri Wine expert. Angela will offer classes at 11 a.m., 1 p.m., and 3 p.m. on the outdoor terrace.

Mount Pleasant also offers delicious dinners on the deck prepared by Executive Chef Dana Liljequist. Each dinner is unique and the main course is paired with a glass of wine. Spaces are filling up quickly for the dinners, so book your reservation now. Dinners are offered on Saturdays, May 12th and 26th and every Saturday in June.
