Family Friendly Memorial Weekend at Mount Pleasant Estates

Mount Pleasant Estates hosts Memorial Weekend activities

Looking for something to do this Memorial Day weekend? The weatherman is calling for clear, sunny skies, so why not take the family for a scenic drive and let Mount Pleasant Estates do the grilling for you. Mount Pleasant Estates, located just a short drive outside of St. Louis in the rolling hills of the Augusta Appellation, will grill mouthwatering barbeque favorites to celebrate the holiday.

Chef Dana Liljequist and his staff have prepared a Memorial Day menu not to be missed. On Sunday, visit Mount Pleasant Estates and try braised beef short ribs slow cooked in homemade barbeque sauce, agave flank steak marinated in tequila, lime and cilantro, or beer bratwursts and sauerkraut. Of course, Mount Pleasant will serve delicious side dishes including smoked beans with burnt ends, grilled corn on the cobb, new potato salad, antipasto salad, and everyone’s favorite, triple mac-n-cheese. Finish it off with cherry cobbler just like grandma used to make.

Soak up the sun while enjoying award-winning wine from Mount Pleasant and breathtaking views of the Missouri River Valley. Don’t lift a finger this holiday weekend.
