Ladue Resident Recipient of MOCPA Women to Watch Award

RubinBrown is pleased to announce Amy Altholz, CPA, partner with the firm, recently was honored as one of the 2013 Missouri Society of Certified Public Accountants (MSCPA) Women to Watch.

The MSCPA Women to Watch Awards recognize women in the accounting industry who have made significant contributions to the profession and development of women in their community. Altholz received the award in the for Experienced Leaders category, which honors a woman who has been in the accounting field for more than 10 years, at an awards gala on November 21.

Promoted to partner in RubinBrown’s Assurance Services Group this past summer, Altholz also serves as partner in the firm’s Not-for-Profit Services Group, for which she serves as vice-chair. She holds both bachelor’s and master’s degrees in accounting from Washington University and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and MSCPA.  She is a mentor for the Olin School of Business Women’s Mentor Program, a board member for Volunteer Lawyers and Accountants for the Arts, assistant treasurer for The Women’s Foundation of Greater St. Louis, and a member of the Allocations Committee member for Variety – The Children’s Charity of St. Louis. She also is an instructor for Nonprofit Management Leadership classes at the University of Missouri-St. Louis. In 2012, she received RubinBrown’s Community Service Award and also has participated in the firm’s Baker Tilly International Exchange Program, working for Sofideec Baker Tilly in Paris, France.
