Jordan Search Consultants Acquires Levison Search Associates

St. Louis-based executive, higher ed, and healthcare recruitment firm acquires Sacramento, CA-based search firm to enhance services, expand reach

St. Louis, MO—Jordan Search Consultants, an executive, healthcare, higher education, and corporate recruitment firm announces the acquisition of Levison Search Associates, a physician and healthcare executive search firm based in Sacramento, CA that has been serving the West coast for almost three decades.

The acquisition forms a larger, more robust organization and will expand Jordan Search Consultants’ offerings to include managed care and health plan physician/nurse leadership, hospice, non-profit community health center, and expert witness services. The new organization will operate under the Jordan Search Consultants name; its broader national reach and reputation will provide clients with unparalleled access to geographically-diverse candidates and opportunities.

“I had been looking to expand my business through a strategic acquisition and, when the time was right, did not have to look very far,” said Kathy Jordan, President and Founder of Jordan Search Consultants. “My firm has collaborated with Regina Levison and Levison Search Associates for almost a decade, and I knew this acquisition—and the expanded service lines and geographic reach it would bring to clients—would be extremely beneficial.”

The acquisition will provide an approximate 40% increase in revenue every year for the next five years.

Regina Levison, President and Founder of Levison Search Associates, is excited about the future. “I wanted to join a firm that shared our level of professionalism and expertise—and would complement the services we provide,” she said. Levison will join Jordan Search Consultants’ leadership team as Vice President of Client Development.

Jordan Search Consultants was founded in 2003 as a physician and healthcare executive recruitment firm and this is the company’s second acquisition.  In August 2012, the company acquired another St. Louis-based search firm to add higher education, academic leadership, and executive-level corporate position sourcing and recruiting to their service offerings.
