Spring 2011 Fashion: Men's Clothing

We track down great clothing for men available in Ladue and Frontenac.

In addition to clothing and accessories for women, teens and kids, stores in Ladue and Frontenac have great clothing available for men. Ladue-Frontenac Patch went to in Ladue and in to check out their spring styles.

At Mister Guy Men's, creative director Nick Catanzaro picked out (and modeled) a variety of clothing. The first outfit he modeled consisted of a tan Baroni sportscoat ($495), a white Robert Talbott dress shirt ($245), a paisley-printed Breuer tie ($98.50) and navy Santorelli pants ($195). He next modeled a pair of Scott James khakis ($125) with a striped blue Rufus dress shirt ($228).

For more casual looks, Catanzaro started with a pair of AG Jeans ($158) and a striped Shirt by Shirt dress shirt ($125). He then moved onto a couple of outfits with shorts. The first outfit was a Hickey Freeman polo shirt ($155) paired with Vineyard Vines shorts with palm trees printed on them ($98.50). For the sports fan, Catanzaro's last look was a Red Jacket brand St. Louis Cardinals T-shirt ($49.50) with blue-and-white gingham Peter Millar shorts ($89.50).

At Sam Cavato, sales manager Mari Jo Winfrey selected some pieces of clothing to be modeled by sales associates Marty Hicks and Tristan Hanson.

Hicks started with a blue pinstriped Ravazzolo sports jacket ($2,270), which is great for work or a special occasion, such as a wedding or graduation. Hanson modeled a light, off-white Allegri outerwear jacket ($475) that is great for those cooler spring days.

Hanson next tried on a couple of shirts with a pair of Canali plain front pants ($335). First was a vibrant blue St. Croix polo ($195) for a more casual look, followed by a blue and purple button-up Equillibrio shirt ($135).

Finally, Hanson modeled a pair of Zegna jeans ($225) with a black Torino belt ($95) and his own black dress shirt--a classic casual outfit for men.

Be sure to check out the photo gallery for pictures of Catanzaro, Hanson and Hicks wearing the clothing mentioned in the story.

This article is the last in a seven-article series of spring fashion stories, which continues from  last week. Thanks for coming back to Ladue-Frontenac Patch for each story, and be sure to check back for future fashion stories.
