Spring 2011 Fashion: Kids' Easter Outfits

Ladue-Frontenac Patch tracks down 10 great looks for boys and girls.

Easter Sunday may not be until April 24, but plenty of parents are searching for the perfect outfits for their kids. Ladue-Frontenac Patch, with the help of models Olivia, Carter, Ella and Amelia Campbell, found 10 great looks for the occasion at Jillybean Children's Boutique (located inside ) and .

As is the case with women, the colors blue and white, along with floral patterns, are definitely popular this season for girls. At Jillybean, Amelia (18 months old) modeled an absolutely adorable white sleeveless, flowing dress ($85). For a touch of spring, a cute flower clip ($12) can be pinned in the hair.

Olivia (10 years old) modeled a simple, cap-sleeved navy blue dress ($93-99) that looked very cute when paired with a blue flower headband ($19). To compliment her look, her sisters wore floral-printed dresses that each contained some blue. Ella (4 years old) wore a white cap-sleeved dress with a red and blue floral print ($80). Amelia wore a pink short-sleeved dress that also has a red and blue floral print ($88).

To keep the floral trend going, Ella also modeled a red and white gingham cap-sleeved dress that has a floral-printed blue layer on top of it ($136).

If you don't want a dress with a floral print, adding something in the accessories always works too. Olivia modeled a cute short-sleeved, lightweight purple dress that has glittery polka dots at the top ($89). For a touch of the floral trend, she wore a silver flower headband ($25) with it.

If Easter turns out to be a colder day, Jillybean also has cute leggings and sweaters that can be worn under or over the dresses.

Finding cute and fun clothes for boys can sometimes prove to be a little more difficult, but Roberts definitely has them covered. As an added bonus, the store also offers free alterations for the lifetime of the garments you buy.

For a more formal look, they have great seersucker suits, in both blue and red ($90 for the jacket, $38 for the pants). Carter (7 years old) modeled a red one, paired with a dress shirt ($37) and blue and white-striped tie ($29).

Next up for Carter was a classic khakis look. He modeled a pair ($30) with a great pink and white gingham dress shirt ($38).

If you're looking for something a little more casual than a suit or full khakis for your son, a nice pair of dress shorts always works too.

Carter modeled a pair of blue and white gingham shorts ($39) with a classic yellow polo shirt ($50) and navy belt ($16). If gingham isn't your son's style, they also have great pairs of plaid shorts. Carter wore a pair of navy, green, white and tan plaid shorts ($41) with a classic green polo ($50) and the same belt.

Of course, these looks don't have to be reserved for Easter alone. These cute outfits work well for other spring occasions, such as weddings and graduations.
