The $1 million project is slated for completion in April.

The has announced a $1 million renovation to The Lobby Lounge and Bar.

The new look of The Lobby Lounge is designed around the theme, “Rhythm and Martinis,” which infuses the traditional Ritz-Carlton elegance with renewed energy and the social air of a modern club.

A favorite gathering spot featuring light fare, afternoon tea, a legendary lineup of over 200 martinis, and live entertainment, The Lobby Lounge receives gold leaf embellishments to its coved ceiling and the luxe-lacquer wall behind its mahogany bar. Titanium gold granite will top the bar while brass accents frame the bar’s illuminated vellum front.

New, Deco-inspired glass screens are introduced between columns within the bar, adding more interest as well as veiled views.

New tufted, leather settees, barrel-back lounge chairs, and cocktail tables of leaf and mahogany will be introduced. The furniture’s textured upholstery will immerse The Lobby Lounge with shades of rich russet reds, deep blues and slivery taupes, and a new latticed-patterned carpet boldly invites guests into the iconic space.
