Ladue Author Signs Books at Deer Creek Coffee

Susan Elliott spent 50 years in the business world, dominated by male executives.

Ladue resident and author Susan Elliott talked about her book and signed  her recently released autobiography 'Across the Divide: Navigating the Digital Revolution as a Woman, Entrepreneur and CEO' on Saturday at Deer Creek Coffee in Ladue.

Deer Creek was very crowded Saturday, and Elliott had the opportunity to sell a number of books and chat with a wide variety of inquisitive customers and casual vistors. The event was hosted by the Ladue-Frontenac Patch.

The 168 page book makes fascinating reading.

Elliott is founder and chairman of the St. Louis based firm SSE, an information technology services firm globally recognized for its proficiency in blended learning, eLearning, mobile learning, network infrastructure and technology management.

Elliott first went to work for IBM in 1958 when the company was actively seeking female employees. She put her analytical logical apptitude to work, leveraging her education at both Mary Institute and Smith College. The book sells for $26.99 and is on sale at Ladue Pharmacy next door to Deer Creek Coffee.
