Canyon Cafe Gets the Gut Check Treatment; Do You Agree?

Check out the RFT's review of the Plaza Frontenac eatery and let us know if you think they were on the mark.

A Frontenac eatery got high marks from the reviewers at the Riverfront Times last week, who called Canyon Cafe "a classy joint" that does southwestern cuisine "minus the tacky sombreros and singing chile peppers."

The review in the RFT last week made special note of Canyon Cafe's margaritas, which come with a two-per-customer limit because they're poured so strong.

The RFT, in its "Gut Check" column on March 21, said the margaritas are one of the reasons "why you'll go back" and also noted that "we were unable to say no to the complimentary chips and salsa slung our way."
