Breeze Blow Dry Bar Opens in Ladue

A grand opening ceremony will be held Friday morning.

Ladue’s new Breeze Blow Dry Bar, set to open in a grand ceremony at 10 a.m. on Friday, will bring Ladue residents a $35, "affordable luxury," said co-owner Susannah Danforth.

The concept of this beauty salon is to have a place where “Time-crunched women could breeze in and let professional stylists wash, blow dry and style their hair, leaving them perfectly polished and coiffed in just 35 minutes. An added scalp massage, conditioning treatment, and refreshing beverage left them a little pampered too,” according to a news release about the ceremony.

At their new location at 9916 Clayton Road in Lester’s Plaza, Girls on the Run Executive Director Courtney Berg and Ladue Mayor Tony Bommarito will participate in the opening ceremony, with the mayor set to be the first person to experience Breeze Blow Dry Bar’s services.

“Call me crazy, but I completely believe that a good hair day can change the way you feel from the inside, out,” said co-owner Lindsay Bush.

Breeze will open to the public on Saturday, Dec. 1 and will be donating a percentage of the proceeds to Girls on the Run.
