MoBAP, Mercy Hospital Top Missouri's Best List

According to a just released U.S. News And World Report list, West County's Mercy Hospital, Missouri Baptist Medical Center and Barnes-Jewish West made the list of top hospitals in St. Louis and Missouri.

According to FOX 2 News, the U.S. News and World Report’s annual “Best Hospitals” rankings reports puts Barnes-Jewish Hospital and Mercy Hospital at #1 and #2 in the St. Louis area and the state of Missouri.

Mercy Hospital St. Louis ranked #2 in the St. Louis area and #2 in the state of Missouri, while Missouri Baptist Medical Center ranked #2 in St. Louis and 4th in the state. St. Luke's also ranked 4th in St. Louis and 8th in Missouri, while Barnes-Jewish West ranked #5 in the St. Louis area and #12 in Missouri.

“I am very proud of all of our team members who consistently provide high quality and compassionate care,” Doug Black, Barnes-Jewish West County Hospital president stated in a news release. “This honor is testament that they continue to excel at what they do best.”

The main Barnes-Jewish Hospital ranked 15th in the country and Mercy has made the “Best Hospitals” list 24 years in a row, the report states.

According to U.S. News and World Report, this is the 24th year for the rankings which evaluate nearly 5,000 medical centers across the country. The report also breaks down the rankings by medical specialtystate and city.
