Continuing Tradition: Paintings by Michal Artal

The Saint Louis University Museum of Art is pleased to host Continuing Tradition: Paintings by Michal Artal. The exhibition will begin with an opening reception at 6 p.m. on Friday, September 9.

In her still life and landscape paintings, Michal Artal seeks to capture the unique beauty of everyday objects and scenes. The work displayed in the Continuing Tradition exhibition combines the interplay of color and light — shadows and reflections, and transforms them into compositions reflective of Artal’s interpretation of traditional themes.

The Michal Artal exhibition continues until October 9 at the Saint Louis University Museum of Art.
