Book Release and Signing: Barbara Blomquist's "Searching For Abby"

Author and St. Louis resident Barbara Blomquist will be at Sallie Home for a release party and book signing for her new novel, Searching For Abby, Thursday, April 5th from 1pm to 4pm.  All are welcome!

Barb Blomquist is a wife, mother of three, and a grandmother of two. Over the years she has lived in four cities and has had many years of experience within the adoption field. This has included working in a residential Children’s Home, coordinating adoption support groups, counseling individual families, and speaking to adoptive parent groups.  Barbara believes it is possible to bust through family anxieties by facing all adoption issues squarely and honestly to ensure a positive outcome.  In her career thus far, Blomquist has written four books, which all reflect the daily struggles with human emotions and insecurities which can be a part of anyone’s life.

Blomquist’s 4th book, Searching for Abby is an uplifting novel that explores the theme of an unfulfilled wife and mother seeking her personal identity.  The character experiences emotionally surprising twists and turns during her soul searching journey to find herself.
