We Want to Feature Your Whiz Kid
Patch is looking for kids who are doing outstanding things in our area.
Was your child selected to play on a team? Did your kid write an impressive report that the teacher loved? Do you have a child who volunteers? Does your kid play an instrument in an ensemble or sing in a choir? Do you know any children who are doing amazing things?
We want to know about these kids for our weekly feature called Patch Whiz Kid. Take a look at these recently highlighted Patch Whiz Kids:
, a fourth grader at Saul Mirowitz Day School–Reform Jewish Academy, who met with Missouri’s lieutenant governor and state representatives in Jefferson City to advocate for the rights of people with epilepsy. She also was selected to go to Washington D.C. to lobby on behalf of the Epilepsy Foundation.
MICDS student who wrote and published an e-book. This seventh grader expanded a school writing project into a complete book inspired by someone she knew who was going through a rough time.
