Patch Picks In Frontenac and Ladue for May 31 to June 5.

There's something for everybody this summer at the St. Louis County Library.

The St. Louis County Library starts its children’s programs this week at Library Headquarters, 1604 Lindbergh Blvd. for more information, call 314-994-3300, or visit www.slcl.org.

Tuesday The St. Louis County Library will kick off its summer reading clubs Tuesday. They will run through July 30. The library offers clubs for all ages: babies, kids, teens and adults, with fun programs and great prizes for each age group. Participation is free and registration begins Tuesday. Wednesday Story Time: Playing it Safe starts at 10 a.m. and is recommended for ages 3-6 years.

Thursday Bring your creative kiddos to the library at 1 p.m. for an exciting time of crafty explorations in Kids Create: Fireflies. Come ready to strap on your crayons and go! The event, for ages 3-6, requires registration.

Friday At 2 p.m., join our lovable host, Lucy, as she tells one of the most popular stories in the whole world, “If the Shoe Fits,” with the help of some friends from all around the globe.  Learn about the different ways people of other cultures tell the story of Cinderella at this wacky puppet show that boys and girls alike won’t want to miss. Space is limited.

Saturday Bring your child to MOCHIP Child ID between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.to generate a kit containing identifying information on your child should the need ever arise. For children age birth-21 years.
