Bird House Contest
If you’re a bird lover or just like building things, you’ll want to enter a bird house in this contest sponsored by Sophia M. Sachs Butterfly House. Entrants will be divided into age categories and there will be one winner per category. Your bird house can be functional or decorative but must be constructed of non-toxic materials. Winning houses will find permanents homes at the Butterfly House; winners will be announced August 24. See contest rules for details

Raise the Roof
Back by popular demand this rooftop yoga event, sponsored by lululemon athletica, encourages people to learn about the benefits of yoga. Held on the rooftop of the Chase Park Plaza, you will participate in a group yoga class while experiencing a unique venue. The class is free but you need to bring your own mat and water.
