Another Wave of Heavy Thunderstorms Strikes the St. Louis Region
This Storm Produced High Winds, Hail and Heavy Rain, But No Tornadoes are Spotted.
At 12:45 p.m. (C.S.T.) another round of vicious weather struck the St. Louis region. Heavy thunderstorms struck St. Louis along with high winds, hail and other elements. No tornadoes were part of this storm.
Homes and businesses in Ladue are reported to be without power per the Ameren website. Ladue High School lost power and is running on back up generators.
This storm did not reach the magnitude of the storm that killed more than 100 persons in Joplin, Missouri. The unpredictable weather is expected to continue throughout the week.
