Pet Illness and Loss Support Group

A monthly support group for pet guardians is being offered by Chris Corrigan Mendez, M.Ed., PLPC, at 321 Westport Plaza, Ste. 210.  The group will be held from 9:00-10:30 a.m. on the third Saturday of each month, starting January 18. Registration prior to the meeting is required.  Fee for participation is $25.

This program will provide support and a place to share feelings for pet guardians who are emotionally struggling as they face difficult decisions and experience powerful emotions upon their pets being diagnosed with a serious illness, sustaining a grave injury, or having recently passed away.

To participate, email ccmmed.2013@gmail.com, complete the contact form on www.ccmcounseling.vpweb.com or call 314-608-6150.  A registration/consent form and a map to the Westport Plaza group’s location will be sent to each participant prior to the group meeting.
